The Haining Warp Knitting Industrial Park (referred to as “Warrior Park”) will be completed and approved; at the end of 2019, Jingfa District, Jianshan New District and High-tech Zone Completed the establishment and passed the acceptance; at the end of 2020, Xucun Town, Zhouwangmiao Town, Yanguan Town, Xieqiao Town, Dingqiao Town and Yuanhua Town Industrial Park were completed and passed the acceptance test, realizing the city's industrial agglomeration area to achieve “waste water zero straight Drainage area" standard.

Drainage facilities are a systematic project with wide coverage and long pipeline facilities. Next, the city will work with the relevant departments of the current province to formulate a work plan for “zero-discharge of wastewater”, further refine the objectives and tasks, formulate the city's creation plan, and clarify the responsibility. The discharge of domestic sewage involves thousands of households, and the direct discharge of domestic sewage still affects the water quality of the river. For this reason, Haining actively promotes the construction and improvement of the sewage collection network. Since 2013, the city has launched a number of municipal sewage collection pipe network projects, such as the eastern sewage main pipe, the Baili Qiantang sewage mains along the Yangtze River, and the tailwater sewage treatment plant of the Jianshan Wastewater Treatment Plant. The layout of the municipal sewage main pipe is further optimized. The reform of rainwater and sewage diversion in the central city has also been promoted. The rainwater and sewage diversions of the Wenyuan Road, Haichang Road and Changchun Road in the urban area have been implemented successively, and the rainwater and sewage diversion transformation of the residential quarters in the central urban area has been organized.

Urban sewage treatment is a key part of the entire sewage treatment system. In recent years, with the advancement of urbanization and the improvement of people's awareness of environmental protection, Haining City has continuously increased its investment in urban domestic sewage treatment, and its sewage treatment capacity has been continuously expanded and upgraded. The municipal sewage treatment project has been constructed since 1999. Three sewage treatment plants have been built, with a daily treatment capacity of 360,000 tons. Among them, the daily treatment capacity of the Dingqiao Wastewater Treatment Plant is 150,000 tons, and the daily processing capacity of the Yancang Wastewater Treatment Plant. The daily treatment capacity of 160,000 tons and Jianshan Wastewater Treatment Plant is 50,000 tons. At the same time, the water reuse project of Jianshan Wastewater Treatment Plant with a daily output of 20,000 tons will be completed, and the first-level A-lifting and deodorization and capping projects of three treatment plants will be completed. .

After years of construction, Haining City has achieved remarkable results in urban and rural sewage treatment. In 2013, the city's administrative village sewage facilities were fully covered. The annual sewage collection and treatment capacity increased from 73.98 million tons in 2012 to 101.46 million tons in 2017. The treatment rate and the centralized treatment rate of urban and rural sewage in the city have increased steadily.
