Drainage facilities are a systematic project with wide coverage and long pipeline facilities. The discharge of domestic sewage involves thousands of households, and the direct discharge of domestic sewage still affects the water quality of the river. For this reason, Haining actively promotes the construction and improvement of the sewage collection network. Since 2013, the city has launched a number of municipal sewage collection pipe network projects, such as the eastern sewage main pipe, the Baili Qiantang sewage mains along the Yangtze River, and the tailwater sewage treatment plant of the Jianshan Wastewater Treatment Plant. The layout of the municipal sewage main pipe is further optimized. The reform of rainwater and sewage diversion in the central city has also been promoted.
