Mango's annual report shows that in fiscal year 2005, the company's net profit increased by 30% to 103.2 million euros; sales increased by 8.4% to 1.14 billion euros. The company’s plan is to open 150 new stores each year, bringing the total number of stores to 1,550 by 2011. This year, Mango opened 118 new stores, of which 15 are in Spain and 103 are abroad, mainly in Eastern Europe, Colombia and Canada. At the same time, the company also increased its scale in Asia and the Middle East, making overseas sales account for 72% of the group's total sales.

Currently, Mango operates nearly 1,000 stores and its biggest competitor is Zara, a Spanish clothing retailer.
